The Scottish Senior Championships 2024 will be an Invitational event, hosted by Weightlifting Scotland
More Information will be released as soon as is available.
This competition is open to all BWL members that have achieved the qualifying total posted on the WLS website and ranking list.
Total must have been achieved in the 12 months leading up to the date of the competition, and have been accepted on their Sport 80 account.
Lower Age Limit – 13th birthday in the year of the competition.
Upper Age Limit – There is no upper age limit.
This competition is open to all WLS members that have met the following conditions.
The lifter must meet at least one of the following conditions.
Have been born in Scotland.
Have at least one parent or grandparent that was born in Scotland.
Or has been a full time resident in Scotland for the 12 months up to the date of the competition.
There is no qualifying total required for this competition.

Upper Age Limit – 23rd birthday in the year of the competition.
This competition is open to all WLS members that have met the following conditions.
The lifter must meet at least one of the following conditions.
Have been born in Scotland.Have at least one parent or grandparent that was born in Scotland.
Or has been a full time resident in Scotland for the 12 months up to the date of the competition.

This competition is open to all WLS members that have met the following conditions.

Lifters will be split into birth years and weight classes.
Lower Age Limit – 5th birthday in the year of the competition.
Upper Age Limit – 16th birthday in the year of the competition.
This competition is open to all WLS members that have met the following conditions.
The lifter must meet at least one of the following conditions: Have been born in Scotland.
Have at least one parent or grandparent that was born in Scotland.
Or has been a full time resident in Scotland for the 12 months up to the date of the competition.
There is no qualifying total required for this competition.Lifters will be split into birth years and weight classes.
Lifters will be judged on technical points which will be doubled up at the end of the contest and added to the weight of the best snatch and the best clean & jerk to make a Biddle points total.
There will be 4 rounds of the development cup held throughout the year.

Upper Age Limit – 12th birthday in the year of the competition.
